Ingredients:
1 3/4-2 cups Heartland Craft Grains Rye Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup chopped chocolate or chips
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars in a bowl. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined. Lastly, mix in the chopped chocolate.
- Portion the cookie dough into balls and place onto baking sheet 2 inches apart, and press gently into a puck.

Sprinkle with sea salt and bake until the cookies have spread and are browned on the bottom, 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
